Motion Definition Post

RECORDING MOTION

Freeze frame - a single frame forming a motionless image from a film or videotape

Motion blur - the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image

F-STOPS

SHUTTER SPEED - the nominal time for which a shutter is open at a given setting

APERTURE - a space through which light passes in a photographic instrument

ISO - measures the sensitivity of the image sensor (international standards organisation)

2.8,4.0, 5.6, 8,11,16,22, 32 are common F stops

The longer the shutter speed is the more blurry your image is going to be therefore this is ideal for taking images of motion.
