SHAPE DEFINITION POST
SHAPE - A shape is an area enclosed by a line. It could be just an outline or it could be shaded in.
Shapes can be either geometric, like a circle, square or triangle, or irregular.
The shapes created in the spaces between shapes are referred to as negative space.
I really like this image as an example of shape. I like how there are two shapes in the image, one being the silhouette of the boy which is made by dark. The other being the Mickey mouse shape behind the boy which has been made by light.

I think this image represents the sexual objectification of women. The way the women appears in the image could be seen as focusing on the form of the women rather than any meaning. In the image she is exposed and the artist has taken many photos of female form so I do think he's trying to present them in a sexual way.
