This is one of my favorite images that I took because I love the focus it has on the curved lines. The image has a very natural feel to it despite the building behind it, I think this is because of the flowers and how when you look at the curves your eyes are then drawn to them. The image has a feeling of calmness within the man-made and natural border.
I like this image because it isn't definite what it is, to many different people it could be different things. I love how the object is reflected in the shadow at a different angle giving it a softer look. The white line going through the middle of the image is not extremely noticeable but gives you another clue as to what the image might be.
This is in my top 5 images because I like how the lines are going in different directions, it almost adds a little bit of confusion and depth into the image. I like the background of the image as its interesting and a good contrast in colour. The brightness of the background makes the metal lines of the steps stand out a lot more as they are a darker colour.
This is one of my more simple images but I think its still quite effective. The image only consists of mainly two colours, blue and brown which really compliment each other. I like the angle from which this image was taken, it is a different perspective to what you would usually see. The lines demonstrated in the image are diagonal, vertical and horizontal and I think all together they suggest a shape and a strong structure.
This is also another favourite image of mine because I like the perspective of it. The closeness of the first railing and how its reflected behind gives the image depth. It is a very symmetrical photograph which I think is well composed. I especially like the saturated blue of the railing and how it stands out against everything else in the image.
