My 5 Best Photographs
I think this is one of my best images because of the structure of it. I like the way the lines are symmetrical and in a pattern. I also like the angle of the image because its a new perspective of the arch. This arbour leads into a garden area from the main path, to me this signifies a journey from one place to another. In this case from a busy man-made path to a tranquil area.
I like this image because of the colour contrast. The blue hand print really stands out against the orange of the brick wall, which is an example of complementary colours. The lines between the bricks add a lot of texture to the image and make it very detailed. This image to me signifies leaving a mark, whoever left the hand print on the wall perhaps wanted to be remembered at the certain place. its like leaving a legacy that will live on for some time.
This image is one of my favourites because of the perspective, I like the fact that you are viewing the building from right above your head, from where the photo was taken it makes the building look very tall. The lines of the building make the image have a very clean and straight finish. When looking at this image it can make you feel small against the huge man-made structure. It makes you think about how the buildings around us are growing taller whilst were getting smaller against them but through our own design.
Although the subject of this photo is out of focus it is still one of my favourites. The fact that the background is in focus makes the image more appealing to me as it draws your eyes in so you really view the image in depth. I like the bright pink colour of the flowers in this image because it really pops and shows the beauty of nature. The image of a flower emends me of the beauty of nature and how the most natural things are some of the most beautiful. Flowers can bring people happiness and love, as we give flowers to show our affection. therefore seeing an image like this can remind people of those feelings.
Out of all the images took I like this one the best. I like the way the leafs have darkened against the brightness of the sky so you really see the pattern of the leafs in detail. I also like the contrast between man-made and nature in the image. It makes you think about the environment in which we live and how we live everyday amongst both nature and man-made. It could signify how we have evolved in the modern day.
Photograph that requires improvement
Photoshop Images

To edit this image I put the saturation up to one of the highest settings, this made the colours really pop and really bright. This made my image look almost unrealistic because of the brightness of the colours.

To edit this image I made it black and white. I done this because it gave the image a new feel, it almost makes the building look empty. I like the way the image looks more in black and white.
