Pattern Straight Images 

I like this image because its different to most of my others, its a different way of looking at pattern. The repetitive nature of the shoe laces is a pattern that your eyes follow up the shoe. I like the way this image turned out as its quite interesting and original.  

This is one of my best images because its slightly confusing but the more you look at it the more you realise the pattern that is in the graffiti. The puzzle pieces could represent a story coming together or even handwork paying off and finally taking its form. 

This image is not a very obvious pattern however when you look at it more you notice that it is. You slowly notice that the windows is symmetrical starts off with triangles at the bottom and then squares going up either side. This replicates the repetitive nature of a pattern. 

I think this is in my top 2 images because not only do I like the pattern, I also like the colours of the wall and how they contrast each other. The white rectangle in the middle stands out from the brick wall behind it which almost breaks up the image into two sections. 

I like this image that I took because of the way the pattern changes direction. The pattern is made up of the glass windows which reflects the light in different ways making it appear different colours. This is really interesting as it makes the pattern less obvious but its still there. This image is of a church, a place of worship, so the repetitive patern of the windows may reflect the reliability of religion. The way people always return to their religion over and over again.
